Resident parking card

The resident parking card allows you to park your vehicle in the area where you live without putting your blue card or paying at the parking meters.

It is attached to a number plate and only one card can be issued per vehicle. The vehicle may not weigh more than 3.5 tonnes.

The card is valid in grey, green and blue zones and events within the assigned sector.

You can benefit from a 1-year resident parking card in the following cases:

  • a vehicle whose owner is considered to be temporarily absent (leaving the Belgian territory for a period of between 3 months and 1 year and for which a declaration has been made to the competent service of the municipality) and which is not parked in Belgium for more than six months without interruption
