On Thursday 28 and Friday 29 June 2018, a European Summit of the Heads of state and Government of the European Union will be held in Brussels in the buildings of the Council of the European Union, at the Rue de la Loi. A safety zone will be set up. Only authorized persons can enter this zone on foot.
In Belgium, a trader can only sell products under the name 'sales' ('solden' in Dutch, 'soldes' in French) twice a year. Both periods of sales are determined by law. Every summer, the City of Brussels organizes 'Brussels in flowers'. This is a competition to incite private individuals to decorate their facade or small garden in front of the house with flowers. The City of Brussels launches a project call for the realisation of an original painted work of urban art on the ceiling of the Terre-Neuve, Van der Weyden and Tanneurs tunnels in the quarter of the Marolles. Applications must be submitted no later than 15 July 2018.
