Activities and Espaces S for seniors

The City of Brussels organizes various activities for and with seniors: events, workshops, conferences, excursions and meetings between generations.

At big events a bus of the City of Brussels connects the pavilions.

Each year, the City of Brussels organizes the International Day for Seniors with free activities and events for people older than 55 years.

The City of Brussels also entered the network of the 'Age-friendly cities' of the World Health Organization (WHO). An 'age-friendly city' focuses on the aging of the population and tries actively to improve health, participation in society and safety of seniors.
