Apply for your passport in time!
Due to the high demand for passports after two years of health restrictions, it takes longer to make an appointment. Please take this into account when applying for a passport through the normal procedure.
The service will do its utmost to meet the high demand, but also counts on you applying for your passport as early as possible.
Make an appointment
If the date of an appointment for a passport or identity/residence card (Kids-ID) application seems too far away, please make an appointment at another City site, either at another City liaison office or at the central services of the Administrative Centre.
Louise liaison office
If you have not been able to collect the ordered card or passport before the office closure from 15 July to 15 August, go to the Administrative Centre of the City of Brussels (2nd floor) during the opening hours of the Population/ID card Service in order to collect your document at the quick counters (without appointment).
Haren liaison office
Due to the temporary closure from 15 July to 15 August, you can make an appointment to obtain a card at the liaison offices in Laeken or Neder-Over-Heembeek, or at the Administrative Centre. If you were unable to collect your card in Haren before the closure on 15 July, you can collect it (without an appointment) at the quick counters at the Administrative Centre (2nd floor).
