The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

School street test at the Rue de Flandre

School street test at the Rue de Flandre

The City of Brussels wants to turn the Rue de Flandre, the Rue de la Clé and the Rue d'Ophem into school streets in order to make the environment safer for the children and their parents. Vehicle traffic will be kept out as much as possible. A test phase is therefore running in those streets until 20 September 2021.

Boulevard Adolphe Max redevelopment

Boulevard Adolphe Max redevelopment

The aim of this redevelopment is to restore the Boulevard Adolphe Max to its former glory. The project includes the planting of new rows of trees and a quality pavement for the footpaths. The public inquiry is held from 18 August to 16 September 2021.
