Certified true copy of documents
The certified true copy has to guarantee that the copy of a document is perfectly identical to the original. Authentic acts, judgments of courts and ID cards cannot be certified at the Population Service.
How to apply?
At the counter, without appointment

Required documents
- ID card or residence card (+ mandate and a copy of the identity document of the person concerned if the application is made by a third party)
- The original (only in French or Dutch)
Rate
- 6 euros per document (payment preferably via Bancontact)
Waiting time
- Immediately (unless the document is intended for abroad: term of 7 days)
