Works at the Boulevard Adolphe Max
The Boulevard Adolphe Max and the Rue de la Fiancée, Rue du Finistère, Rue du Pont Neuf, Rue Saint-Pierre and Rue de Malines are being redeveloped.
The redevelopment works began on 8 February with the removal of the existing trees and bins. During the first week, parking will be prohibited in the entire area. Thereafter, the ban will be partial per zone.
In the week of 13 February, the contractor will work on the corner of the Rue de Malines and Rue Saint-Pierre and also at the Boulevard Adolphe Max, on the even-numbered side, between the Rue du Pont-Neuf and the Rue Saint-Michel. Traffic will be diverted locally and the terminus of bus line 88 will be moved to the Boulevard Emile Jacqmain at number 82.
Pedestrians and cyclists can continue to use the streets throughout the construction period and shops remain accessible. In March 2024, the entire area will be brand new.
