The City of Brussels and the Federal Public Service of Finance organize the aid together. Thus, the residents of the City of Brussels get help completing their tax form.

The aid is organized from 15 May to 30 June 2017. The service is intended only for filling the tax declaration. The doors are open from Monday to Friday (except on 25 May, 26 May and 5 June), from 8:30 am to 2 pm at the following address:

  • Rue des Halles 29A
    1000 Brussels

Proposal of simplified declaration

A large number of pensioners and people with unemployment, sickness or disability benefits will no longer receive tax returns but a proposal of simplified declaration.

That proposal contains any information which the administration already has on you and the data were processed to calculate the taxes, so you'll receive the amount that you will receive or that you will have to pay.

If you agree with that proposal, you have to do nothing. If you wish to make changes, then you should write to your tax service or make the changes via Tax-on-web.

Good to know

  • Tax-on-web allows to fill in the declaration form online. The site offers many advantages such as direct aid for the hand-written part and an estimated amount for your taxes.
