Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

CovidSafeBE application

The CovidSafeBE application allows you to obtain Covid certificates and travel within the European Union (EU).

With a Covid certificate you prove that you are 'Covid Safe'. The Covid certificate thus facilitates the movement of people between EU Member States. For example, if you are going on a business trip or vacation.

Three types of certificates

There are 3 types of certificates:

A vaccination certificate
A test certificate of a Covid-19 test with a negative result
A recovery certificate for people who have recently recovered from Covid-19, after a positive Covid-19 test

How do you get a Covid certificate?

by telephone (keep your national registration number at hand): 02 214 19 19 (from 9 am to 5:30 pm during the week, from 10 am to 5:30 pm during weekends and public holidays)

How do you use the Covid certificate?

Show the QR code on your smartphone or on your printed version.
