Draft Water Management Plan 2022-2027
The Brussels Capital Region is launching its 3rd Water Management Plan. Before final adoption of the plan, the project will be subject to a public enquiry, from 1 November 2022 to 30 April 2023.
The 3rd Water Management Plan is launched to continue to implement the necessary actions around the major challenges of water in the urban environment and to further valorise the 'blue heritage': protection of watercourses and groundwater resources, the fight against storm flooding, wastewater treatment, prevention and management of flood risks and droughts, sewerage, restoration and preservation of biodiversity, development of recreational areas, creation of urban cool islands,...
The public enquiry will take place from 1 November 2022 to 30 April 2023.
Throughout the duration of the public enquiry, the draft Water Management Plan 2022-2027 and the Environmental Impact Report can be consulted:

A regional information evening will take place on 17 November 2022 at 6 pm at Bruxelles Environnement.
