From 17 May to 2 September 2018 at the Coudenberg Palace.
According to folklore expert Albert Marinus, parades and processions of giants express a need to convey ideas and feelings in a visible, extraordinary way. In our region (the Netherlands), the archives attest to the existence of giants all over this area in the 15th century: Goliath, Bayard the Horse (accompanied by the four Aymon sons) and St. George fighting the Dragon. This exhibition displays all the facets of these characters and biblical and legendary heroes.
As part of the Carolus Festival.
