Exhibition. Mathieu Pernot - Something is happening

The Mathieu Pernot - Something is happening exhibition departs from the island of Lesbos in the year 2020. This island in the Aegean Sea, a few kilometers from the Turkish coast, has experienced a succession of crises in 2020.

With his photographs of the island and the refugees, Mathieu Pernot not only questions the themes that reflect the long history of the Jewish communities such as exile, violence and solidarity, but also questions his own practice by developing a polyphonic narrative that contains images made by the migrants themselves.
