From 8 April to 4 November 2019 at the Atomium.
The Atomium symbolizes the democratic will to maintain peace among all nations and faith in progress. That's why you are now able to rediscover the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through Spirou and 29 other comic book heroes.
Spirou was created 80 years ago by Robert Velter. The great Belgian comic strip hero has always made a stand against tyranny. Defending values such as respect for others, justice, courage, generosity and liberty, the comic book hero is a perfect choice to be named Champion of Human Rights by the United Nations. Especially for this celebratory anniversary of the Declaration, as it was created 70 years ago.
