Fortnight of International Solidarity 2019

From 1 to 15 October 2019 at various locations in Brussels. The opening night will be held on Wednesday 2 October 2019 (at 7 pm) at the Gothic Hall of the City Hall.
The City of Brussels holds a Fortnight of International Solidarity, a time to think, to meet people, with events for and by citizens in different places in the city. A start to better understand our world and act at our local level.
In the 2019 edition, the emphasis is on inequality, and in particular on how it can be reduced. All in accordance with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the member states of the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda. These goals are aimed at eradicating poverty in all its forms in all countries, protecting the planet and guaranteeing the prosperity of everyone.
As in every edition, the theme is presented in a varied program of conferences, exhibitions, films, creative workshops, artistic installations,...
