Info session. Owners of vacant houses in the Marolles

On Tuesday 1 December 2020, at 7 pm, an information session for owners of vacant homes in the perimeter of the Marolles Sustainable District Contract.

Within the district contract, the urban planning office ERU and the architectural office AAC have been given the task of carrying out the "Renovation of vacant houses in the Marolles". The goal: to re-market as many vacant or under-occupied homes as possible and guarantee affordable rents.

The district contract finances the full support of owners in the rehabilitation of their property:

  • support in the search for renovation subsidies
  • support in applying for planning permits
  • legal support, also in drawing up a (rental) agreement
  • architectural sketches (preliminary design) and estimate of costs for the necessary works

An empty house quickly expires and eventually needs a heavier and more expensive renovation! In addition, the City of Brussels has a tax on vacant, abandoned or unfinished buildings (PDF, 349.30 KB).

Are you the owner of an unused home? An information session will take place on Tuesday 1 December at 7 pm. If the meeting can take place physically and in accordance with the sanitary measures then in force, we will inform you of the location later.
