Info session. Owners of vacant houses in the Marolles

This event has already passed

On Tuesday 1 December 2020, at 7 pm, an information session for owners of vacant homes in the perimeter of the Marolles Sustainable District Contract.

Within the district contract, the urban planning office External site ERU and the architectural office External site AAC have been given the task of carrying out the "Renovation of vacant houses in the Marolles". The goal: to re-market as many vacant or under-occupied homes as possible and guarantee affordable rents.

Support?

The district contract finances the full support of owners in the rehabilitation of their property:

  • support in the search for renovation subsidies
  • support in applying for planning permits
  • legal support, also in drawing up a (rental) agreement
  • architectural sketches (preliminary design) and estimate of costs for the necessary works

An empty house quickly expires and eventually needs a heavier and more expensive renovation! In addition, the City of Brussels has a tax on vacant, abandoned or unfinished buildings (PDF, 349.30 KB).
