LGBTQIAP+ Advisory Council

LGBTQIAP+ Advisory Council

The LGBTQIAP+ Advisory Council deals with all situations, issues and problems in Brussels that affect the LGTBQIAP+ community.

An LGBTQIAP+ Advisory Council was established in 2022.

The LGBTQIAP+ Advisory Council acts as an advisory body. It considers the specific needs and interests of LGBTQIAP+ individuals and makes them known to the Board.

The term 'LGBTQIAP+' refers to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual and related persons. The '+' in the LGBTQIAP+ acronym is meant to include all people who do not identify wholly or partially with the above 'categories'.

The members are representatives of associations committed to combating discrimination against the LGBTQIAP+ community, to the visibility of each of the letters of the LGBQTIAP+ acronym, to the integration of LGBTQIAP+ persons in society, who have their seat on the territory of the City of Brussels and/or actually have activities on the territory of the City.

Since 2022, the following organisations and individuals are part of the Council:

The reports of the meetings are only available in French and Dutch.
