'Made in Versailles' project call

The City of Brussels launches its first edition of 'Made in Versailles'.

What is it?

'Made in Versailles' is an annual call for projects that aims to support and encourage local initiatives. This is done by awarding a grant to residents, associations or schools committed to implementing actions that can have a positive impact on the quality of life and social cohesion in the Versailles quarter.

What kind of project?

An open-air cinema in your neighbourhood? A comedy festival? A book swap or a competition for the most flowery balcony? Whatever the idea of your project, the aim is to enhance conviviality in the Versailles district contract area and highlight the skills and talents of its residents.

Who can participate?

'Made in Versailles' is open to all (groups of) residents, associations or schools in the neighbourhood. People who do not live in the area of the district contract can participate if the project is carried out in partnership with one or more inhabitants of the Versailles quarter.

Steps of the project call

Read the project call regulations (PDF, 427.88 KB).
Make an appointment with the Versailles district contract team (mandatory step). Contact them by phone, e-mail or visit the district office (contact details below).
Complete the application form:

Sign the application form and send it by e-mail to urb.versailles@brucity.be or drop it off at the Versailles district office (Avenue de Versailles 130 - 1000 Brussels) by 29 September 2023.
Present your project orally in October 2023 before a selection committee composed of residents, associations and members of the Versailles district contract team.
Is your project selected? Then carry out your project within 12 months.

If you do not want to submit a project, but just want to be part of the selection committee because you live in the neighbourhood or your association is based there, this is possible as well. Do not hesitate to contact the district contract team.
