The Bulgarian artist Bozko was invited to create a mural at the Quais quarter, on the occasion of the 2018 Balkan Trafik Festival and in collaboration with the City of Brussels. The street art wall at the Quai au Bois de Construction 7 was inaugurated on Wednesday 18 April 2018.
In order to guarantee the safety of the pedestrians, the Rue du Chêne, the Impasse du Val des Roses, and the Rue de l'Etuve (between 59-65/48-52) will become a restricted traffic zone from 25 April 2018. These streets are then accessible for local traffic with admission tickets.
In 2018, the Grand-Place will be on the World Heritage List for 20 years. To celebrate this anniversary, the City of Brussels organizes a whole series of events. The first in line is the placement of 7 logos around the Grand-Place that refer to the World Heritage status. The placement of the bronze plates started on Monday 19 March and should take another two weeks.
