This event has already passed
From 2 September to 31 October 2023 at the House of Compassion.
Everyone is free to leave a country, including their own. After a first exhibition at the Place Jourdan, the travelling exhibition The Odyssey of a Truck, a Road to Freedom moves to the House of Compassion (Place du Béguinage), closely linked to the recent history of undocumented migrants in Belgium and their struggle for regularisation.
In this place, surrounded by photographs by Micheline Rabinovitsj and Pietro Emili, the 'Community House of Europe' will organise further debates, with members of the European Parliament, local and regional representatives and experts, and in the presence of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim of the exhibition is to develop solidarity between Brussels residents and the people and migrants still stranded in the Una-Sana canton, in Bosnia, on the border with Croatia.
Opening hours
- From 10 am to 5 pm
- Closed on Mondays
