Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). More info: coronavirus measures by the City of Brussels.


Passport Service only by appointment

From Monday 3 September 2018, normal procedure applications for passports and travel documents can only be made by appointment.

Those who want to request a passport must thus make an appointment.

If you urgently or very urgently need a passport or travel document, you can still come to the counter. The collection of these documents is possible by appointment or at the counter.

As a reminder, all transactions for ID cards, residence permits and driving licenses are by appointment only since 15 June 2018 on the second floor of the Administrative Centre of the City of Brussels.

Laeken liaison office

From 3 September 2018, appointments will also be required at the Laeken liaison office for requests for passports and ID cards.
