Pimp My Street - Ilot Sacré

This event has already passed

From 23 November 2017 to 7 January 2018, Belgian designers and craftsmen occupy a number of vacant commercial spaces at the Petite rue des Bouchers (Korte Beenhouwersstraat).

This unique pop-up festival fits into the series of initiatives of the City of Brussels to promote the commercial attraction of the Ilot Sacré: renovation of streets and facades, harmonization of the city furniture, support for the start of new shops,...

In this context, the City launches the Pimp My Street festival. During seven weeks, vacant premises at the Petite rue des Bouchers are occupied by pop-up stores. There are three rooms on the ground floor and a large, common room where about ten entrepreneurs can exhibit and sell their products.

In addition, the Ilot Sacré will also get Christmas lights this year (Rue des Bouchers, Petite rue des Bouchers, Rue des Dominicains and the Impasse de la Fidélité), as part of the Light on Trade trail during the Winter Wonders event.

The shops, recognizable by the blue Pimp My Street neon lighting, are open from Wednesday to Sunday, from noon to 7 pm.
