Reper-Vreven school quarter meeting

This event has already passed

On Wednesday 26 January 2022, from 8 pm to 9:30 pm, online.

The City of Brussels wants to work on safe, healthy, liveable and accessible neighbourhoods. The starting point is to guarantee the safety of the most vulnerable, namely school-age children. That is why the City is working on low-traffic school quarters in various places in Brussels.

Reper-Vreven quarter

The Reper-Vreven quarter has no less than 7 schools and 3 crèches. The City wants to make the Reper-Vreven quarter safer and healthier for the many school-age children, residents and visitors.

It wants to do this by limiting through traffic in the quarter. It also wants to use smart measures to ensure that motorists comply with the speed rules. In addition, it wants to encourage parents and school-age children who can do this to come to school in an active way.

Circulation schedule

The City of Brussels, together with a consultancy firm, has studied various measures to change the circulation in the quarter. These go hand in hand with the planned redevelopment of the new Place Marsupilami.

In order to present this new circulation schedule to the quarter, the City of Brussels is organizing a meeting. All schools, residents, traders, organizations in the neighborhood are more than welcome to give their opinion, share experiences and work together to build a safe, healthy and accessible neighbourhood.
