Sales of publications of the Archives and the Museums

On Friday 2 and Sunday 4 June 2023 at the Archives of the City of Brussels.

The Archives, the Museums and the Culture Service of the City of Brussels are organising a sale of both older and more recent works at a soft price or by the centimetre.

What will you find at this sale?

• Unsold copies of publications of the Archives, the Museums and the Culture Service
• Numerous works for which there are duplicate copies in the libraries of the Archives and Museums
• Old exhibition catalogues
• A number of publications with no link to the history of Brussels
• Old empty retro archive boxes

Unsold publications and works of which we have multiple copies in our library are sold by the centimetre. The books are laid flat and stacked on top of each other. The height of the stack is measured with a ruler. The price is 1 euro per centimetre, where we always round up our measurement. Publications from after 2000 are sold for a bargain.

Payment : cash, Payconiq or Bancontact.

Booking works in advance is not possible.
