She Runs - dance course at the Place De Brouckère (postponed)

On Wednesday 29 September 2021, from 3 pm to 5 pm, at the Place De Brouckère.

A dance class at the Place De Brouckère promotes She Runs - Active Girls' Lead, an international event whose 2nd edition will take place in Brussels in March 2022. She Runs, created by the International School Sport Federation (ISF), enables the City of Brussels to to put women's sport, emancipation and gender equality in the spotlight.

As part of International Women's Day, She Runs - Active Girls' Lead brings together nearly 3,000 school girls aged 13 to 18, including 500 participants from 40 countries and 2,500 from Brussels. During 5 days, these young women meet in the European capital to participate in various sporting, intercultural, entrepreneurial and inspiring activities like a running race, a sports village, workshops and a conference.

Dance class on 29 September

To promote this international project, a dance class open to everyone is being given by the young Brussels choreographer Jeny Bonsenge and other teachers from the Afrohouse Belgium school. Two distinguished guests will be there as well: Amal Amjahid, eight-time European and World Jiu-Jitsu Champion, and Estelle Mossely, Olympic and World Boxing Champion.
