The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). More info: coronavirus measures by the City of Brussels.

'Show your #BXLove' campaign

The City of Brussels launches a new campaign 'Show your #BXLove', which brings generations closer together during the lockdown. The campaign calls on young people to use social media to record a message for grandparents, seniors from the neighborhood or other elderly people who are isolated in a rest home.

Hashtags #BXLove and #StaySafe

The messages are a word of support, an encouragement or another original idea to make the days during the lockdown period more pleasant. You can record them and then share them via Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, using the hashtags #BXLove and #StaySafe and mentioning the account bxl_online. Thanks to the use of these correct hashtags, the City will be able to find the various videos.

Video for the rest homes

The campaign runs until 27 April. At the end, the various videos and stories are edited into a more extensive video message. This video will be broadcast in the various retirement homes of the City of Brussels. It will also be shown on this page and on the social media of the City of Brussels.
