Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.


Smart City project call 2020-2021

The City of Brussels is launching the 4th edition of its call for Smart City projects. This year, the projects must focus on the sustainable economic and/or commercial recovery after Covid-19. Submit your projects before 12 February 2021.

The City provides a total budget of 200,000 euros, in the form of grants, for 'smart city' initiatives on its territory. The grants are distributed as follows:

  • a maximum of 50,000 euros for a maximum of 2 large projects
  • a maximum of 10,000 euros for a maximum of 10 other smaller projects
