Traffic congestion due to works at Rogier Tunnel and Rue de la Loi

During the 2017 summer, serious traffic problems are possible in Brussels due to works at the Rogier Tunnel, the Rue de la Loi, the Porte de Hal Tunnel and the Porte de Ninove.

Rogier Tunnel

On 1 July, Brussels Mobility will start with the final phase of the works at the Rogier Tunnel. The Boulevard du Jardin Botanique will be closed between the Boulevard Emile Jacqmain and the Rue Neuve. Shops and hotels remain accessible, also during the sales period. The works must be completed before 1 September.

Rue de la Loi

For the renovation of the bridge on the Rue de la Loi across the Maalbeek valley, traffic is limited to two lanes between 1 July and 31 August. The access to the Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée will be closed.

Porte de Hal Tunnel

The renovation of the Porte de Hal Tunnel continues. From 28 June, traffic will be allowed on one lane in every direction (until April 2018). During the Midi Fair, cars will be able to use the tunnel.

Porte de Ninove

The works at the Porte de Ninove continue according to the planning.
