Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.


New tram at Neder-Over-Heembeek

The City of Brussels, the Brussels Capital Region and the STIB transport company have presented the route of the new tram at Neder-Over-Heembeek. The design phase of the project started at the beginning of 2021 and will end in June 2021.

The route of the new tram line will connect Neder-Over-Heembeek to the Place Rogier. A citizens' panel was installed on 15 July 2020. Within the steering group of the future tram project in Neder-Over-Heembeek, this panel supervises the entire development of the public space along the future tram line:

Project design phase

The online survey about the future route of the tram in Neder-Over-Heembeek (from 20 October to 25 November 2020) provided a lot of information about the use of public space, the mobility of the users and the thoughts of the local NOH experts:
