Virtual exhibition. 'Ce que la photo nous raconte...'
The exhibition Ce que la photo nous raconte... had to open on 2 April 2020. Due to the coronavirus measures, it has been postponed to 1 September 2020 (at the Saint-Géry Halls). The exhibition will show some remarkable old photos of Brussels from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century.
Pending the opening, the exhibition is already virtually available:
The exhibition is based on a photo collection created more than 100 years ago by the Comité d'Études du Vieux-Bruxelles. Part of it is kept in the art library of the Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles (ArBA-ESA) and was recently digitized.
