Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.


Women's Rights Week 2021 call for projects

The City of Brussels launches a call for projects for the organization of activities on the occasion of the International Women's Day. Proposals can be submitted until 15 December 2020.

For years, the City of Brussels has been organizing the Women's Rights Week around the symbolic date of 8 March (International Day of Women's Rights). Over the course of a week, all sorts of activities (lectures, workshops, exhibitions, plays,...) are organized on themes relating to inequalities between men and women and women's rights.

Theme of 2021

For the 2021 edition, the Equal Opportunities Unit will be highlighting the following theme: the inequalities of women in various professional fields, ranging from entrepreneurship to the academic world, politics, sports and culture,...

How to submit a project?

Send the form by e-mail to the Equal Opportunities Unit of the City of Brussels (, before 15 December 2020.

The form and attachments are only available in French and Dutch.
