Kids Friendly Label
The City of Brussels has obtained the Kids Friendly Label. This label is awarded by the Brussels Capital Region to publicly accessible places that make efforts for better welcoming families with children.
The Kids Friendly Label is an official and free recognition. It aims to promote and recognise facilities that focus on welcoming families, especially single-parent families. The label focuses on accessibility in its broadest sense, covering:
- human aspects: a benevolent attitude towards children and their carer(s), training around single-parent families, awareness-raising around diversity,...
- physical facilities: accessibility, play area, adapted toilets, breastfeeding area,...
- organisation: priority lanes, accessibility outside office hours, making appointments,...
