Prevention & safety
Every person longs to live in the best conditions of safety for people and goods.
Programs of prevention are set up in Brussels. Police services assure the safety of people, goods and the present institutions in the capital. They also maintain the law and order in the city.
Be-Alert is a new system for alerting and informing the population in emergency situations. Citizens are asked to register in order to receive a message by (mobile) phone in emergency situations. In 2014, the City of Brussels will be testing the system.
The police of Brussels-Capital-Ixelles has a service for surveillance of houses during long periods of absence. The service is simple, effective and completely free!
On Saturday 13 September 2014, from noon to 6 pm, at the village festival of Haren (GC De Linde).
