Every person longs to live in the best conditions of safety for people and goods.
Programs of prevention are set up in Brussels. Police services assure the safety of people, goods and the present institutions in the capital. They also maintain the law and order in the city.
Since 28 March 2014, a new regulation is in force for the prostitution in the Alhambra district. The new regulation moves the prostitution 24h per day to the Boulevard d'Anvers, Boulevard de Baudouin and Boulevard Albert II.
Be-Alert is a new system for alerting and informing the population in emergency situations. Citizens are asked to register in order to receive a message by (mobile) phone in emergency situations. In 2014, the City of Brussels will be testing the system.
Elections on Sunday 25 May 2014
