On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 Septembrer 2018, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the Quai des Péniches.

The first International Kite Festival of Brussels, with only the sound of the wind as background music: exhibitions and history of kites, creative workshops, kites from all over the world and amateurs.

Exhibition

An exhibition dedicated to kite art opens its doors from Wednesday 19 September at the External site KANAL-Center Pompidou. The origins and international variants of the kite are shown via objects and photos.

Workshops

As an introduction to the festival, the organizers organized construction and initiation workshops together with schools, associations and traders from the quarter. During the festival, kite construction workshops will be organized for the public.
