Access to a school street
Do you need to access a school street with your vehicle? You can apply for an authorisation.
The filters, both retractable posts and ANPR cameras, which prohibit traffic by a C3 traffic sign, make access to the street impossible (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
Access is only possible for emergency services (police, fire brigade,...), public transport, taxis, maintenance and waste collection services.
For the filters with a retractable post, these restricted access zones are also accessible to residents, traders, institutions and owners of garages in the street, provided that authorisation is requested. These filters are equipped with number plate recognition technology and they can also be activated with a code.
Schedule of the school streets?
Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm, Wednesdays from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and from 11:30 am to 1 pm, every day of the week except during official school holidays.
