Artists Rise for Climate

On Sunday 31 October 2021, from 2 pm to 6 pm, at the Place du Luxembourg.
Artists Rise for Climate (Live Aid for Climate) is a festival of 13 artists who support the fight against climate change: Ben'do, Charlotte, Doowy, EJ Eyre, Getch, Helora Rose, Jean-Luc Fonck, Konoba, Laura Crowe and Him, Livio Hans, Saule, Springclean, Tom White Shoes, as well as harpist Maria Palatine and the Brazilian percussion group Maracatu Batuque.
A Climate Village offers visibility to citizens' initiatives, individual or collective initiatives, as well as activities for children and families.
Climate Change Conference (COP26)
The festival and the village are held in front of the European Parliament. They draw attention to the official opening day of COP26, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (1-12 November), and call on the leaders of the EU and the 27 member states to show ambition and determination in their negotiations. After all, Europe has set itself the goal of becoming the 'first carbon-free continent'.
