MyBXL maintenance and telephone accessibility

Due to maintenance works, the External site MyBXL citizen portal will be unavailable from Friday 2 December at 1 pm until Saturday 3 December at 7:30 am. Interruptions are still possible on Saturday 3 December. Due to the move of the services of the City of Brussels to the new Brucity Administrative Centre (on 12 December 2022), the waiting time for a telephone answer may be temporarily longer as well.

From Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am till noon and from 1:30 pm till 3:30 pm, Friday from 8:30 am till noon. In the event of overcrowding, the management reserves the right to stop the distribution of tickets before closing time.

Driving licence, ID card (except urgent procedures) and passport (except urgent procedures) only by appointment.

Several steps can be carried out there and certain acts and documents can be obtained there:

  • ID card

  • passport

  • driving licence

  • work permit

  • domestic composition

  • certificate of nationality

  • proof of residence

  • certificate of life

  • copy or an abstract of the certificate of the registry office (of birth from 1991, marriage from 1992, divorce from 1995, deaths from 1991, nationality from 1994, suppletory acts from 1998)

  • Attention: some certificates are not delivered immediately

  • mention a change of address on the certificate of registration

  • legalization of a signature

  • certified true copy of documents in French or in Dutch

  • declaration of change of address

  • parental consent for a journey abroad

  • extract of the police records

  • local resident card and parking cards

  • information and forms concerning Electoral Affairs

  • hand over acts from the register office records from abroad

  • demand (by appointment) and retrieve E card
