Embroidery exhibition

From 2 to 31 May 2024 at the Bruegel cultural centre.

Hortense Dayez's work is sculptural, requiring a love of colour and raw, worn materials. She thinks with her hands and with her eyes to give life to abstract works inspired by marine and plant worlds.

Her participatory textile project brought together children, adult literacy learners and local residents to create a joint textile work. It's a way of raising awareness of the need to reuse, recycle and recycle soft materials in an artistic form.
