Since the 1950s, LGBTQI+ communities in Brussels have used graphic design and have developed a specific language. This visual language signals their presence and their commitment to a set of shared principles, identities and values.
Brussels Queer Graphics exhibition offers an overview of this visual language. This project explores the ways in which the LGBTQI+ communities have expressed themselves and increased their visibility over the last 70 years in Brussels.
