From 17 November to 8 December 2023 at the Design Museum Brussels.

Laeken Découverte takes you back in time to discover the colonial pavilions of Congo and Ruanda-Urundi presented to the public at the 1935 and 1958 World Fairs. Which were these pavilions? What did they look like? How did they serve Belgian colonial propaganda? And what place was reserved for Africans in these large popular gatherings?
