Exhibition. Witches

From 27 October 2021 to 16 January 2022 at the Vanderborght building.

The Witches exhibition provides an overview of the history of witchcraft: from witchcraft trials to literature, from the demonic figure to the friendly witch of pop culture. Ethnographic objects, manuscripts, paintings, photographs, film works, artistic performances,...: Witches is a cross between true stories about witches and their representations, through the ages and the arts, up to their contemporary representation, more specifically in the queer and feminist movements that chose the witch as the emblem of their rebellion.
