Every 2 years the Grand-Place of Brussels is covered with a flower carpet of begonias. The carpet of 70 m x 24 m is composed by about 120 volunteers, with nearly 1 million flowers in less than 4 hours.
Theme of the 2026 Flower Carpet
For this 24th edition of the Flower Carpet, Japan will be honoured on the Grand-Place. After a first collaboration in 2016, the Land of the Rising Sun is back this year with a new artistic fresco.
