The appearance of a street is largely determined by the quality of the facades. The City of Brussels has a rich history, with buildings in many different styles. You will find advice on heritage from the City of Brussels in this brochure.

Preserving heritage

The aim is to combine both conservation, sustainable development and indoor comfort. The tips encourage the maintenance of what exists to preserve cohesion in public spaces and they apply to all buildings on the territory of the City of Brussels, in all styles.
