Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). More info: coronavirus measures by the City of Brussels. Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

Kiosks and chip stalls

In the streets of Brussels, you can enjoy many diverse and varied types of retailers: chip shops, ice cream and waffle trucks, food trucks, snack stands and fruit and vegetable stalls, catering kiosks, newspaper stands, flower stalls,...

The kiosks enliven the walking areas such as the Bois de la Cambre, the Royal Park and the pedestrian zone. The chip stalls (fritkots) continue a Brussels tradition in the four corners of the city.
