Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.


Plan for Sustainable Development

What is it about?

The Municipal Plan for Sustainable Development 'The City in the Making' is a strategic document aiming to provide an answer to the current and future challenges facing the City of Brussels. Within the framework of the 2018-2024 General Policy Program, the objectives to be defined in the plan will lead to the implementation of concrete actions, in accordance with the Regional Plan for Sustainable Development.

What purpose?

The diagnosis, combined with the challenges included in the majority agreement, leads to 7 major ambitions for the city of 2040:
