Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). More info: coronavirus measures by the City of Brussels. Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

Plogging: walking and picking up litter

Would you like to make your neighborhood cleaner? Do you jog or walk regularly? Then why not plog?

Plogging (a contraction of jogging and 'plocka', Swedish for collecting) stands for running or walking and cleaning up litter at the same time. With the WePlog app you can also see in which streets you still have litter. After your plogging tour, the application will be updated and you will see the result of your action in green. WePlog is free to download. More info:

There are currently more than 3,000 ploggers active nationally and they clean approximately 12,000 km of roads and paths per month.
