Brussels Fiscality has started sending out the 2026 property tax bills. Most letters will be sent during the summer period (July-August).
Owners of a house, land or other immovable property located in the Brussels-Capital Region are subject to a property tax. The tax bill is sent annually by Brussels Fiscality.

If you have activated External siteMy eBox, you will receive your tax bill digitally this year. As soon as the document is available, you will receive an e-mail mentioning 'Services du Gouvernement de la Région bruxelloise' (French) or 'Diensten van de Regering van het Brussels Gewest' (Dutch).

Owner-occupier allowance by the City of Brussels
In 2026, the City of Brussels adjusts its additional rates on property tax. These will rise from 2,950 to 3,457.
To support owners who live in their own homes, the City is introducing an automatically granted municipal allowance. More info:
