Disrupted telephone services

The telephone call centre of the City is currently experiencing technical failures. It is therefore sometimes difficult to contact the various services by phone. You can still request your documents online and on the citizen portal External site MyBXL, or make an appointment.

Advisory Council of Seniors

The Advisory Council of Seniors is a consultative body, recognized as such by the city council.

On 6 May 1988, the Advisory Council of Seniors of the City of Brussels was installed in the City Hall. The council joined the already existing Consultative Committees.

Besides the proposed activities, the council has a role of opinion and suggestion on all the questions which interest seniors:

  • safety
  • transport
  • housing
  • nursing homes
  • ...

The missions and organization of the Council are in accordance with the External site Ordinance of 27 July 2017 regarding the Municipal Advisory Councils for Senior Citizens.

The candidates have been selected to become a member of the municipal Advisory Council of Seniors ( Decision - City Council of 29 June 2020 (PDF, 1,013.27 KB)).
