Advisory Council of Seniors
The Advisory Council of Seniors is a consultative board, recognised as such by the City Council.
History
On 6 May 1988, the Advisory Council of Seniors of the City of Brussels was installed in the City Hall. The council joined the already existing Consultative Committees.
Mission
Besides the activities, the council has a role of opinion and suggestion on all the questions which interest seniors:
- safety
- transport
- housing
- nursing homes
- ...
The missions and organisation of the Council are in accordance with the External site Ordinance of 27 July 2017 regarding the Municipal Advisory Councils for Senior Citizens.
