What is it about?
The City of Brussels is planning to renovate the Emile Bockstael French-speaking community crèche located on rue Félix Sterckx adjacent to the school of the same name.

The aim of this project is to improve the infrastructure and increase the capacity to 56 places, creating a modern environment adapted to the needs of the children. During the works, scheduled to last 10 months, the children will be rehoused in the Cité Modèle premises. This temporary solution guarantees the continuity of childcare services, ensuring uninterrupted care for the families concerned.
What purpose?
This project meets the following ambitions and objectives:
- To respond to the shortage of childcare facilities for young children
- To transform municipal and public buildings into key drivers in improving the urban climate
