​Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.


Brussels Marathon & Half Marathon 2020 (virtual)

From 28 September to 4 October 2020.

The Brussels Marathon & Half Marathon, scheduled to take place on 4 October, has been postponed until next year due to the coronavirus and will be held on 3 October 2021. The first virtual Brussels Marathon & Half Marathon (using a new event app) will run from 28 September up to and including 4 October 2020. It will also invite you to discover Brussels.

Participants can choose from 3 challenges: 10km, 21km or 42.195km. You can start running from your own front door, along your favourite training course, on your local athletics track... but also on a course especially designed for this challenge: The Brussels City Route.
